Demon Slayer Accounts for 1/4 of Japan’s Box Office Sales Despite Drop in Total Movie Theater Attendance

Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan reports that movie theater attendance in the country is down 45.5% from 2019. It also reports that the Demon Slayer Movie: Mugen Train, accounts for roughly 1/4 of box office sales in 2020.
